What happens when a parent signs a non-smokers policy, but one of their kids is a smoker?

My dad signed a non-smokers policy through his HMO years ago, but I started smoking when I came to college. Will my parents be kicked off their policy or can I just lie anytime the doctors ask if Im a smoker? What happens when a parent signs a non-smokers policy, but one of their kids is a smoker?
Unfortunately doctors can tell whether you smoke or not. I have tried to lie many times about smoking, but they can tell from the sound of your lungs.
